· Certified Surgical Technician (CST) or certified within one year of hire.
· Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
· Ability to use various instruments, machines, tools, equipment and work aids as necessary to perform job duties.
Ortho preferred.
Works under the direction of the registered nurse that is working as a circulating nurse in the room at the time of surgery. Gives authorized nursing care to the patient and assists the doctors in the handling of instruments.
